Madderra & Cazalot, a commercial mortgage banking firm with offices in New Orleans and Dallas, offers developers and commercial real estate owners quality mortgage banking services on a nationwide basis with a specific emphasis on properties located in Louisiana, Texas and surrounding states. The three principals of the company, Mark Madderra, Ron Cazalot and Lori Lorentz, are seasoned veterans in the commercial mortgage business having combined experience of over 70 years with an origination total in excess of $3 billion on commercial and multifamily properties. The group has also placed debt with revolving acquisition credit facilities, mezzanine loans and the placement of equity. Madderra & Cazalot works with Institutional Investors including insurance companies, Wall Street, Investment Bankers Pension Funds and REIT’s. Generally the deal sizes range from a low of $3 million to a high of $100 million.
The group has correspondent representations with many of its funding sources and works with others on an open ended basis. We provide real estate financing expertise to our clients and handle the transaction from the preliminary loan sizing through underwriting to closing. All principals have extensive underwriting and deal structuring skills which results in a high close ratio and very satisfied clients. The investors that the company works with enjoy a good relationship with the group and know that market knowledge and due diligence is accurate and reliable.
